Fresh user interface that is easy to navigate and transact. Improved and robust platform. Optimized bulk payment solution for salary and general payments, Pay merchant, Bill payments, Enable Email OTP (One Time Password) and Update security questions.

If you hold any the following accounts from SBM Bank, you can register for the service at no additional cost

Can I access Online Banking services from the Diaspora?

Yes, you can access the service from anywhere in the world where there is internet connectivity.

What services are available on the Online Banking platform?

The following services are available on SBM Bank online banking platform:

  1. Viewing account balances
  2. Viewing mini-statement of up to 100 recent transactions
  3. Viewing/Downloading/Sharing of Full account statement in various formats Excel and PDF.
  4. Account to MPESA Transfer (Own & Other Mobile number)
  5. Funds Transfer (SBM Bank account, EFT, RTGS, Telegraphic Transfers)
  6. Airtime Top-up (Own & Other Mobile number)
  7. Bills Payment (Credit Card, Prepaid card Top-up)
  8. Bill Payment- Water: Nairobi & Kisumu water
  9. Bill Payment –ITAX: (KRA & KENTRADE)
  10. Bill Payment- Entertainment: ZuKu, JTL, GOTV, DSTV & Startimes
  11. Bulk Payments for salary & general payments (MPESA, EFT, RTGS, SBM Accounts)

Is Online Banking free?

Access to Online banking service is free of charge. However, there are costs associated with various transactions initiated from the application. The app will display the specific charges applicable to the transaction before submitting for processing. Please refer to the Banks tariff for chargeable services.
