(COVID-19) – A MESSAGE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Dear Esteemed Customer,

As part of the SBM family, we value you and would like to ensure that you stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic and access our services conveniently.

With this in mind, we have taken precautions to ensure that your banking experience remains seamless.

We have installed hand sanitizer dispensers at different stations in all our branches and head offices for your use.
All high touchpoints such as counters, desks, ATMs and door handles are constantly disinfected to prevent the spread of the virus.
Our staff have been sensitized to adopt preventative hygiene measures and will be promptly cared for, should they exhibit symptoms associated with the virus.
We have waived fees on Mfukoni Mobile and Online Account to MPESA transfers.
The limit for mobile money transactions has been increased to Kes 150,000 per transaction and Kes 300,000 per day, with unlimited transactions on Mfukoni.
We are conducting meetings through phones and other digital means where possible.
We encourage you to go cashless, utilize our digital banking channels Mfukoni Mobile or USSD *275# and Online Account to carry out your transactions. Through these channels, you can check balances, view statements, deposit to your account directly via Paybill number 552800, pay bills, buy KPLC tokens & withdraw to MPESA for free.

In addition, enjoy MPESA collection settlement from your suppliers or customers straight to your SBM bank account through our Mobile2Bank platform.

You can also use your SBM Cards at points of sale for free, or to make payments for online purchases at no extra cost. Our ATMs remain available 24 hours a day for cash withdrawals.

For those running business, salaries or bulk payments can still be paid via our Simple Payments Solutions.

We shall continue our weekly SME founder conversations every Thursday via webinar in conjunction with our partners Passion Profit by registering through this link. SME Founder conversations are forums that help to build capacity for our SME community.

We remain committed to offering you world-class service during this time. Should you have any queries and concerns regarding your banking needs or the measures we are taking, kindly reach us on:
